I <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gelkote.net\/blog\/?p=340\" TARGET = \"_blank\">touched on<\/a> Geauga Lake outside of Cleveland earlier and now I read that Coney Island&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.astroland.com\/\" TARGET = \"_blank\">Astroland<\/a> is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2008\/09\/08\/nyregion\/08astroland.html?em\" TARGET = \"_blank\">closing<\/a>.  The article notes that the owners sold the property in 2006 for $30 Million and then leased it back.  Guess what?  The lease is set to expire and the new property owner isn&#8217;t interested in renewing the lease.
